week 28

Monday- Caiden and Maddy had their last HsAP's day today.  They invited the parents to see the kids plays for drama during the last hour of the day.  Westin and I went to the YMCA then play group.

Tuesday- The forecast for today was perfect so we decided to meet some friends at the zoo.  We also had the kids HsAP spring program tonight.

We got to see the penguins get fed

After 3 hours at the zoo a book on tape was the perfect way to transition into our afternoon book work.  We've been listening to Farmer Boy.

Wednesday- Swim lessons and last ampd today

 Maddy has been struggling to memorize her math facts.  I just bought this math song book and CD and she loves it and it seems to be helping

 I interviewed a music teacher for the kids and loved him.  I love the way he teaches piano!

 To finish out our R controlled vowel unit we played connect 4 and the kids loved it.

Our garden is doing really well!

Thursday- we did gymnastics and piano and made lots of time for legos and puzzles.

Friday - In addition to our daily work we meet friends at the children's museum but I didn't take any pictures.

Saturday - I took the kids to Dutch Village on Saturday and as always they loved it!
