Week 21
Monday
The weather is getting nicer! We started the morning with Westin's YMCA class and he big kids and I working out together. We put in a full day of school then the boys went grocery shopping with me while Maddy had sewing class. When Mike came home we went on a family bike ride.
Tuesday
I love Tuesdays! The kids went to Spanish in the morning then we met up with 5 families (6 moms and 23 kids) at the Critter Barn. We were the only people there. It was a beautiful sunny day and everyone had a great time. Then we went home and watch The Sound of Music. Mike came home and we had dinner together and then Maddy and I went to an American girl Party.
Wednesday
We did a full day of school. Caiden has been working on a geometry unit in math and Maddy is working on addition and divison facts. We talked about the battle of the bulge in history. Both kids worked on typing, spnaish, penmanship, and spelling. Caiden is still working his way through the Harry Potter series and Maddy is reading a Junie B. Jones book. Both kids are working on Story Starters for writing.
We wanted to check out the store that had been the guest speaker at Maddy's American Girl last night. It was a neat place. There was a looming class going on and they let Westin work the loom. Then we met some friends for lunch at Pizza Hut. In the afternoon Caiden worked on his tinker crate and Maddy finished school. The kids worked on their memory verse then we went to church for a Grow in Grace night.

We did school in our pajamas. We talked about Japanese interment camps in history. Caiden had gymnastics then we went to the Douglas house to hang out. Maddy had dance and then I had my work out class.

Friday
We talked about the holocaust in history this morning. We watched the Boy in the Stripped Pajamas. We then did Reading, Math, Spelling, Spanish, and writing. Maddy had horse riding lessons from 1-3. While she was there Westin, Caiden, and I played ticket to ride and Uno at the Allegan library.
