Christmas Break

Monday December 14
We arrived home early this morning/late last night (1:00 am).  Since we only have 11 days until Christmas we will not be doing curriculum. The kids will however continue learning.  Their CAP kit was waiting for them when we woke up.  The kids were excited to play with them.  The enjoyed the sphero balls.  We unpacked, I went grocery shopping, and did laundry and took naps to help recover from our trip.

We like to go to a local u-cut farm.  We got donuts after and checked out a local toy store too.  The kids made ordainments and we stopped by and played with some friends.  We drove to 2 houses to see Christmas lights set to music.  We all really enjoyed this.

Wednesday December 30 - Tomorrow is Mike's birthday.  The kids all wanted to hid things for him around the house and make cards for him. I also finally got around to making lesson plans for when we go back to school. We took a lot of time off so I am trying to include some fun projects for when we get back to homeschool. We started watching Star Wars in order.  It's a lot of screen time but we are enjoying the time together and days are so long and the Pandemic still has a lot of things closed down.
