Week 12 January 3

Monday - Well it's back to school today.  We started talking about the Han Dynasty in History.  All the kids started a new spelling unit.  We did sneak in some games in between lessons. The kids finished the prep for our battle of the books meetings for this week. Caiden had gymnastics at 5:00 then we all took it easy after our first day back at school.

Friday-  Today was a pretty full day.  We got most of our school done by 11:30.  I started to make pizza at11:30.  At 12:00 Caiden's Battle of the books team came over to discuss book number 2.  They stayed until 2:00 and then I took Maddy to her horse lessons.  When we came home Maddy did her typing lesson then Westin read to her.  I gave Caiden his spelling test and we his math lesson.  The kids a some screen time then we had dinner. After dinner we went over to the Thelen's for games.

Saturday- Mike and Caiden went to robotics.  I slept in until 11:30.  I painted Maddy's nails and read some of the new book.  I took Caiden to get new gloves and made a trip to the library.  My parents stopped by and took us out to lunch.
