Chicago!

Monday

 As usually we don't do a week of curriculum when we travel.  I always bring Math for the car ride and then I consider the trip our school for the week.

 We stopped at the Indiana Dunes National Lake shore on our way to Chicago.

 My kids LOVED this park. So fun for a park like this to be in the city!

 It was 81 degrees in October!  It was so hot they turned on the spray features at Maggie Daily Park

Tuesday - Today we enjoyed the Brookfield zoo for the first time.  Admission was free but we paid extra for the dolphin show, which was totally worth it!

Wednesday- Science and Industry day.  We got in free with our ASTC membership.

Thursday - We did 2 museums today :

Field Museum

Children's Museum at Navy Pier

 Today was also our use public transportation day.The kids loved riding on the bus and subway.

Friday- We stopped back at the Indiana dunes visitor center to get the kids junior ranger badges and the ranger gave one to Westin.  He was so excited to have his own badge.
