Week 16

Half WAY mark!!!

Monday- Caiden and Maddy went to HsAP and then Caiden had Ampd. We are half way through our school year at the end of the week.  Time is really flying by.  We are on point in all subjects except Math.  We should be on lesson 80 at the half way mark but it looks like we'll be on lesson 77.  So we'll half to find a way to make up at some point.

Tuesday - We went to story time and art school.

Wednesday- Our science unit study for the month is the science of food.  We've been talking about the food pyramid lately.

Thursday- Gymnastics and piano

Friday- We watched Trumps inauguration speech and played speech bingo during it.  When we finished we meet up with friends at the children's museum. After Mike got out of work we went up north for a 5 day ski trip.

Saturday- Great day at Nub's Nob and playing games.

we skied and came home on Wednesday.  The kids did math in the car

Thursday- We came home to a flooded basement after our ski trip.  A lot of our homeschool stuff was destroyed. Others like the animals from our biome project needed to be moved up stairs because service masters is cleaning up the basement.  The kids are enjoying playing with some of the downstairs storage toys.  Gymnastics and piano today too.

Friday- We've been studying the science of food so I took the kids to a local culinary school so they could see what a chef has to do to become a chef.  Super cool trip!  The kids even got chef hats!
