Week 24

Monday- I took Westin to play group while the big kids were at HsAP.  After the kids were done we went to the zoo and got free ice cream at Dairy Queen.

Tuesday- We had a great day at home then played with friends at the park and the big kids went to Art School and I met 2 friends at the gym for a sweat sessison.

We're studying force in science

We're working on dipthongs in English.  Today we learned ow/ou.  

Both Caiden and Maddy's reading is improving.

Daily music time.

We created a friction board today.  We each made a hypotheses about which texture would create more friction the wax paper, the sand paper or the bumpy side.

The kids took turns racing the cars down the 3 tracks and we marked how far they traveled.  We talked about which track created the most friction.

The kids created puppets and put on an awesome show today!

The kids roller bladed around the neighborhood today.

Daily spelling practice 

Math continues to be Caiden's strongest subject.  Maddy works hard and is making improvements.

The kids 1 hour weekly art class was today.  They love it!

Wednesday- The kids had swim class and Awana today.  Maddy made a boat during one of her breaks.

Thursday- It was my turn to be the parent helper at Rez.  In between classes they had a limbo contest. The kids also had gymnastics and Maddy had piano.  We did a shortened day and the kids finished all of their work before Rez.  My parents came to visit today.  After dinner we went back to Rez for their derby race. Neither kid did very well but they both had fun hanging out with friends.

Friday- My parents went to the zoo with us, watched the kids play with the robotic arm, and played games with the kids.  We also did a full day of school.

Weekend- The kids made quil pens and ink wells out and worked on their Jr. Ranger badges.  The kids played with the neighbors, played games, and did their last EMEE robotics circuit.
