Week 4
Monday
We did school in the morning then Caiden went to Art school. Westin and Maddy came home and played while I cleaned up the house. On the way to picking up Caiden we stopped by the library. Maddy had put a Dog Man book on hold and it was ready to be picked up. After we all came home Caiden's friend Aiden and his family came over to play. Then Maddy had sewing lessons and I went grocery shopping with the boys. We came home and made dinner then Mike left for hockey.
Tuesday
The kids had Spanish today. I came home and precooked 3 meals and also made pumkin bars which turned out really good. After lunch at Spanish we went to Robinettes apple haus for some cider and donuts with Maddy's friends Maddy and Georgia. We dropped the girls off and went home to watch our history movie for the week. We're studying Immigration during the Gilded Age so we watched Far and Away. The kids loved it. After dinner Caiden and Mike went to Caiden's last robotics group for the fall. His tournament is this saturday and he is very excited. He has really loved this group! Maddy and Westin spent the evening coloring and reading.
Wednesday
In the morning today we tackled math, writing and reading. Then we watched a history video on Immigration on the way to the zoo. We enjoyed a free day at the zoo with another family had a picnic lunch there then got home at almost 2:00. We watched a science video on levers on the way home. The big kids did their spanish while I rested with Westin then they had some free time.

I was working with Maddy on money today and after we were done westin had a blast with the money stickers.
Thursday
We finished school in the morning and then we met some friends at post family farm. We had a lot of fun. We drove Maddy to dance class picked up a pizza for dinner then went downtown to see some more art prize. It was a really great day.

We did our school in the morning then my mom came to visit. She watched the boys for me and it was my turn to drive to Allegan for horse riding lessons. I went to their little downtown and sat at the cutest little coffee shop and spent the afternoon planning my next 6 weeks of history. That evening Mike and I went on a date.

Saturday
Today Caiden had his first robotics tournament. Although he didn't make it into the finals, he had a lot of fun.
