week 18
Monday
Today we started out World War 2 unit in History. Caiden continues to work on long division and Maddy is just starting multiplication and division. Maddy continues to enjoy her reading instruction book. Caiden is on the 3rd Harry Potter book and Maddy is enjoying the captin underpants books. Westin is working on letter T this week. Westin had his YMCA class today and the class was football this week. The big kids and I enjoyed a good work out together while he was in class.
Today we talked about Dunkirk in history. Caiden had gymnastics and I went grocery shopping with Maddy and Westin while he was there. We finished school in the afternoon and then Maddy had dance lessons in the evening.

Tuesday
The kids all had Spanish in the morning then in the afternoon we went swimming with friends at the downtown YMCA. When we came home we watched the Zoo Keepers Wife. After Mike came home we played a game of Monopoly with the new board that I just bought.

Wednesday
There was an ice storm last night and we had a great time today exploring behind our house. Today's big project was building a DNA structure out of candy. We played another game of Monopoly today and we talked about the 5 countries that fell to Germany after the phony war. In the evening we went to see the Griffin's play. We used the kids free tickets from the library reading program.

ThursdayToday we talked about Dunkirk in history. Caiden had gymnastics and I went grocery shopping with Maddy and Westin while he was there. We finished school in the afternoon and then Maddy had dance lessons in the evening.

Friday- We had planned to go to Detroit today but the weather was really bad again so we had to cancel. We watched Dunkirk today. We finished up school and then Caiden had a all nighter at the AWANA chruch.
Saturday
I picked Caiden up at 7:00 am and then dropped Maddy off at 10:00 am for her girl's fun day at AWANA. Then Mike picked up Maddy for the Wyoming Parks and Rec daddy daughter dance. The boys and I had small group in the evening at the Hoekwaters.
