Winter trip
Friday
We got on the road around 8:00 and arrived in Indianapolis around 12:00. We spent 3 hours at the Indiana State Museum. They kids loved it and it was easy to get to and right on the canal. It was a nice way to break up the 7 hour drive.
Saturday
We arrived at the National Park around 10:00. We worked on a junior ranger badge and took a tour of the visitors center. Then we headed out to the car for lunch. Our domes and dripstone tour was at 1:00 and lasted 2 hours. We all really enjoyed it. We spent a little time after the tour exploring the national park then stopped by Sonic for happy hour and headed back to the hotel for swimming.
We drove the 1 1/2 to Nashville from our hotel and arrived at the country music hall of fame at 9:30. The weather back home was getting bad and we were worried about Mike catching his flight out so we dropped him off at the airport around 1:00. We then went to the Parthenon until close to 2:30. Then we went to the science center until it closed. We had dinner back at the hotel.
Monday
We went to the art museum from 10:00-12:30. The kids loved it. Then we walk to hear some live music. Then we went back to the Science center.
Tuesday
We drove almost 6 hours today and we went in the hot tub at the hotel when we finally got there.
Wedneday
We spent all day at the Atlanta Aqurium
Thursday
We drove about 5 and 1/2 hours and stopped at the Tampa beach. Then we went to Aldi and on to the rental.
Friday
We spent the morning at the Ponce De Leon fountain of youth and then hit the beach up in the afternoon. We came home and had dinner and watched Pirates of the Caribean.
Saturday
We visited the Castello and Walked down george st. then went to the beach today
Sunday
We woke up and drove to legoland. We spent the day playing at the resort then picked mike up from the airport.
Monday
We drove 1 1/2 hours one way to get to the Kennedy space center visitor complex.
Tuesday
We played at the hotel then went inside the park to shop for legos. The kids did the master builder class with Mike and then we went to the movies.
Wednesday
We swam in the pool. The kids did the master builder class. I went grocery shopping. The kids did the master builder competition.
Thursday
we went to the Legoland theme park.
Friday
We went to the Clearwater Aquarium
Saturday
We played at the beach
Sunday
We went to Okefenokee
Monday
We stopped at the Murfreesboro science center and stopped at the Abraham Lincoln birthplace memorial national park.
Tuesday
We stopped in Louisville.
