week 22 Corona Virus lockdown week 2

Sunday
The kids helped me make a cheese cake today that was so good. Caiden and Mike worked on a robotic coarse and Maddy worked on some art projects. We played several games together too.

Monday-
We woke up to snow and the kids went outside and played. They made a snow man, snow angles, and went sledding. They came in and tackled school. Maddy is working on her 6 multiplication math facts this week. At 3:00 they got their screens and Maddy went on facebook Zoom with 4 friends and I chatted with my friends on zoom too. We had dinner then played guess who followed by Guesstures.

Tuesday

We started the day with a new to us game that has been in the basement for a while. We had fun and then had our history lesson on Ancient Rome. It's our first day in our new Roman unit. We then reviewed the Skeletal System for science together then the kids were working on their own to do lists. It was a beautiful day so everyone enjoyed some sunshine and fresh air.

Wednesday

We did school then the kids have been working on cleaning the walls in the house. After they were done cleaning they were able to get screens at 3:00. We're definatly missing our normal routine but we'er trying to make the most of quarintine.

Thursday

Today we spent the morning working on building our own Roman Aquaducts. We had a lot of fun. I helped Westin with his and the big kids built their own. We had to trouble shoot and we talked about design flaws. It was a lot of fun. We then worked on the rest of school and kids got screens at 3:00.

Friday

We Facebook Zoomed Grandma for the first time today. It was good to see her and we had fun catching up. The kids finished all there school and then got screens at 3:00.

Saturday

We had a really productive and fun day today. I worked on cleaning out the office in our basement. Mike has been working from home and could use the desk space. The kids helped Mike make pizza for lunch. Maddy worked on an art project and Caiden and Mike played chess. In the evening we played a family game of Risk then we played Ticket to Ride with friends online with zoom. It was a good day.
