week 21 Corona Virus lock down week 1
Monday -
I took no pictures today. Things with Covid are getting more serious and we are not planning on leaving the house for anything but food this week. It feels weird to have all our normal activities canceled. The kids did a good job of working on school today and they are doing a great job with handling all the disappointing closures that are happening.
Tuesday
The kids did a great job on their school work today. They also wrote letters to friends. Maddy did an art hub for kids video today and we are working hard on ways to get fresh air and movement in everyday now that their sports are all cancelled.
The kids did a great job on school today. We needed milk so Mike to the kids to Target and allowed Caiden to get a new Harry Potter Lego set with his birthday money. He got the Hagrid's Hut set. We had fun digging out old games we haven't played in a while now that we're home more.
The kids did school today but also got a little creative. They did shaving cream painting and then we made elephant toothpaste.
We did school today then we played Texas Hold'em in the evening. Mike helped the kids figure out how to use CAD design for kids. They loved it. We played 4 square for active outside time.
Life is crazy right now. Grocery stores have been running out of basic food items so I decided to set my alarm and get to Aldi when they opened their doors today. I ended up getting everything we needed. Maddy enjoyed working on an art project today too.
