Week 11

 Monday- The kids made paper snow flakes and paper chains and were all about decorating for Christmas.  Their was lots of Christmas music today too.  We started our unit on the Crusades in history and we talked about Astroids in Science.  The kids are only doing reading, writing, and math this week in addition to science and history.  We're keeping it simple. Maddy wrote to an astronaut today and we played a rhyming game with Westin today that the big kids got into.

Tuesday - The kids did their online Spanish program.  Westin got done with his school early so he enjoyed playing with his soldiers. I ran to the store to get special snacks for our road trip to Florida.  In the evening we played our new game, Poetry for Neanderthals.

Wednesday -  We worked on school then the kids went to the wet lands behind our house and made some pretty cool forts. The sky was blue today and the kids had a great time playing together. 

Thursday - We did school today and then my parents came. Tomorrow morning were are heading to Florida.  We enjoyed playing games with them and are looking forward to a week in Florida. 

Friday-  We got up and hit the road.  We took today off of school but are looking forward to learning all kinds of great things on vacation. We are driving and will be taking plenty of precautions as we are traveling during a pandemic.
