Ozarks Trip November 1

 

Monday- we drove 9 hours and 30 minutes and stopped twice only for gas.  We packed and ate all meals in the car.  When we arrived we checked into our condo and got settled then we went to the outdoor pool.  Maddy and I checked out fun mountain. Once the kids went to sleep Mike and I played board games together.

Tuesday- we all slept in.  We ate breakfast in our condo and enjoyed some morning games together.  We started off the morning checking out the Big Cedar Lodge.  There were Lincoln Logs there the boys played with while Mike Maddy and I checked out the observation tower. Next we went put put golfing.  The free course on the property was really fun. We went back to our condo and had lunch. After lunch we went to fun Mountain.  The kids did the arcade then we all went bowling. They had a bingo game that was really fun. After Bingo we went back to our lodge for dinner.  When we finished we went back to fun Mountain and the kids did flip bumper cars and laser tag.  After fun Mountain we checked out the indoor pool and game room.

Wednesday - we stayed in all morning.  We had a slow breakfast and enjoyed playing games together.  We ate lunch then went to Top of the Rock.  We did the golf cart tour through the cave and trails.  The we enjoyed their natural history museum.  We went home for dinner and came back for the sunset ceremony.

Thursday - we had another slow morning.  We drove 1hour and 1/2 to get to Whitaker point.  The road there was INSANE. After our hike we went to get BBQ in Branson. Then we watched the sunset in the hot tub.

Friday- we got on the road around 9:30.  The kids were excited to stop at the world’s largest gift shop.  They also wanted to stop at the Uranus Fudge factory.  We made it home by 9:30.  It was a long day of travel.
