Week 10 November 29
Monday - We had a really relaxing Thanksgiving break. It was hard to get back to the grind of school. But we did get through the day. We finalized all our stuff for Battle of the Books. They are releasing the book titles on Wednesday this week. Westin had swim lessons and we had a great surprise when we arrived. Westin's friends were there. Rogan was in his lane and his brother Maverick was also swimming. His friend Theo was arriving just as we were leaving. They are forecasting the first snow fall for tomorrow so we spent the evening getting the kids winter gear ready.

It's perfectly normal to do school like this right?

Tuesday - We took today off of curriculum. I let the kids spend the entire morning playing in the snow. They made snowman, went sledding, and made a snow fort. After lunch the kids went to Spanish and then I picked them up and we went to the Fredrik Meijer Gardens. We enjoyed the Traditions around the World exhibit and the kids made their own Diwali sand art when we got home. Although they had no curriculum assignments today I saw Maddy working on her IEW in the evening.
Dosen't everyone eat breakfast in their snow pants?
