Week 15
Fishing with Mike
Monday- We enjoyed our day off. We played Clue then Monopoly in the morning. Then we went to Provin Trails for a hike with some friends. We stayed for about 2 hours. It was a beautiful day to be outside and it was wonderful to see our friends the Korsmos. I get groceries when we came home.

Tuesday - We started a new unit it science today. We will be learning about geology for the next 2 months. We talked about the 3 layers for soil in science. We also made our own edible layers which was a fun way to start the day. We are talking about the 3rd Crusade in history. We made a collage of pictures that represent the kids and traced the out line of their portrait for their all about me writing assignment. The kids finished up school then we went downtown for ice skating and to check out the Art Museum.

Wednesday- We finished up school before lunch and the kids enjoyed making their 3 layers of soil out Legos today. The kids enjoyed there time at nature school today. It was sunny and they enjoyed their time with friends outside.

Thursday- We talked about the 4 layers of the earth then made cookies to help learn about the inner core, outer core, mantle, and the crust. The kids really enjoyed this project. We finished up school and then went sledding with friends in the late afternoon.

Friday- We worked on school, cleaned the house, and the kids got pizza and Youtube breaks. Caiden and I also did a video call with Elijah for Battle of the books. Maddy had horse lessons in the afternoon and they got to do a trail ride today. It was beautiful out!
