week 2

Monday-

 Working on handwriting.  Caiden began his first cursive lesson today.  He is very excited to learn cursive.

 We learned about Eli whitney today.  I let them play with cotton balls.

The kids also had art school and we met friends at the park.  We stopped at the library to for Caiden to pick out a new book to read.

Tuesday -

 We tried to make a light bulb light up with a copper wire and galvanized nails

Maddy chose our science unit for this month and we're studying lemons this month 

The kids new dvd writing curriculum

This has really helped change their attitudes about writing.

 They are almost done with the 4th Harry Potter book

Maddy learned 6 bible verses

Caiden continues to shine in math 

We went to our first rock and mineral club meeting tonight

The kids learned alot about fossils tonight

They loved getting new rocks too

Wednesday 

Wednesday morning the kids clean before spanish class 

After spanish and music the kids listened to and finished the goblet of fire

Thursday 

Westin was the first one up today.  He "helped" me make pancakes

caiden is enjoying learning cursive

Maddy struggles with math but her attitude is getting better

after morning lessons we met some friends for a nature hike

We had friends over for a pizza harry potter party since we just finished the book.

Friday 

We only use our writing curriculum 2 days a week.  I love it!
