week 3

Monday- Today we built forts and played with clay in addition to our school work.  The kids also had art class.


Tuesday - Today was hot so we left early to catch some art prize before the heat set in.  We then checked out the new brain exhibit at the public museum.

Wednesday-
 We started the order of the Phoenix today.
Wednesday mornings are for play or cleaning

Thursday-
 The kids working on their writing project
 Weekly Thursday gymnastic class
Working on their Erie canal project

Friday- In the morning we went to Fredrik Meijer Gardens with friends then Robinettes for apple picking.  However, do to an early frost Robinettes was not allowing picking today.  In the evening I took the big kids downtown to see some more art prize.
I didn't plan this we just had both of these in the house.  Thought it was fitting for today.
Even on days that we have outings we still do school.  I don't always post pics of the work we do at home on these days because they are usually boring comparing to our outing pictures.

End of week history project.  This week we studied changes in transportation.

Saturday- We had several families over for a game night-


Sunday- I stopped by the library after I went grocery shopping and brought home a  new batch of books.  The kids spent over an hour reading to each other.  It was so cute!  I also love seeing their- building creations.
