week 5

Monday - We had a great day of school, fun with friends at the park and Maddy helped me with dinner.

The all about spelling curriculum has been great for the kids.

Tuesday - This Tuesday was a camp roger week.  The kids had a blast like they always do and I enjoyed taking Westin to playgroup.

Wednesday -  Wednesday are reserved for cleaning the house in the morning then lingual learners, music Harry Potter books in the afternoon then prepping 3 kids for Awana.  All 3 kids continue to love Awana and we love Wednesday nights with friends.

Thursday -Today we wrote the rough draft for the personal narrative project.  Caiden is loving this which is amazing because writing use to be his least favorite subject.  This level in the project seems a bit too challenging for Maddy so I told her she could dictate to me for the first 4 projects but would need to write her last two.  The kids had gymnastics at 12:30 then Maddy had her first civic theater class today.  She was very excited and loved it!

Friday - Air Zoo! We get in free to the air zoo this month with our Children's museum pass.  We meet up with 3 other families and had a fantastic free day with friends.

This week we took a break from our curriculum because it was columbus day this week We focused on reviewing 3 explorers and the finding of America. 

Saturday -  Mike's parents were in town so we spent the morning playing games.  Caiden's soccer game got rained out.  In the afternoon we all ran in the Grand Rapids kids marathon with friends.  It even stopped raining during the race.
