week 10

Monday- We worked on school in the morning then I took the kids to art class, followed by lunch with friends.
We are taking a second week to cover the Oregon Tail and we added these 2 books to cover John Tyler.

The kids are obsessed with mad libs lately which is awesome because they are leaning the different parts of speech. 
we also played in the leaves today

Tuesday- We went to story time at the library.  Then we worked on school and went swimming with friends at the YMCA.
I introduced the kids to the Oregon trail today.  They loeved it.

The sun came out so we went to the park after story time.

Wednesday- The kids were super productive today.  They both began creating science posters which was completely their idea.  Caiden is working on one covering the Silurian time period and Maddy is creating one on Paleozoic Sharks.  They also worked on painting and Caiden played Oregon Trail.  Then there was our usual Spanish class, music lessons, and Awana.

Thursday -  We finished almost all our school before gymnastics.  Which was awesome because my mom came into town to see Maddy's Civic theatre performance.  Maddy did an excellent job!

Friday- Maddy read and did math. Caiden did math and worked on his typing in the morning.  Then we drove to the Kalamazoo Nature Center which was amazing.  We met 2 other families there.  The kids were pretty whipped when we got home.  We listen to some Harry Potter and called it a day.  Then in the evening we went to the HPA Lion King performance.  The kids loved it and Westin sat still!
