Week 3

Monday
Today I did writing, handwriting, math, and history with the big kids and Westin did his preschool box.  Then we went downtown to art prize.  We had a great day for it.  Mike met us over his lunch hour and the kids loved seeing so many cool art pieces.  They also enjoyed the site lab projects.  We came home for a rest time then Maddy had sewing and I took the boys to Aldi for our weekly shopping trip.  In the evening the kids worked on reading and writing out their awana verses.

Tuesday
The kids went to Spanish in the morning.  I packed up the car while they were in class.  Then we hit the road.  We arrived in Dearborn around 4:00.  We are spending the next few days with our good friends the Douglas family.  We are going to visit Greenfield Village and take a Ford factory tour. We are staying in Angie's inlaw's home.  They are gone so we have the house to ourselves. We got settled into the house and then had dinner.  After dinner we went to a near by park to play and it started raining.  The kids had a blast playing in the rain.  We came back took showers and the kids enjoyed some reading time before bed.

The kids were enjoyed it.  We came back to the house after the tour had lunch and went home.  We got home around 5:00 and the kids had soccer practice at 6:45.
