week 3 October 4

 Monday - In science we talked about molecules.  We made our own molecules out of marshmallows.  We have a great book from the library that shows us what the molecules of lots of things look like.  Caiden and Maddy finally got to read through their detective case in vocabulary.  Westin's writing continues to get better. We talked about the Aztecs in history today.  After we finished school we had run club.  In the evening we made a bridge out of kenex.

Tuesday -Tuesday- we had a slow morning. We woke up and snuggled and listened to Harry Potter. We’re on the Order of The Phoenix. The kids had to read or write and do Math before their Spanish class.  They enjoyed their Spanish class then we met friends at the Frederick Meijer Gardens.  We also went to Robinettes for cider and donuts after the gardens.  In the evening Caiden had robotics.

Wednesday - We took today off of school.  I have been organizing field trips for the kids Grace classes.  Today I organized a trip to Lewis Farm Adventures.  We have over 50 people. It’s an hour away so it was an all day event.  We had a fantastic time.  We came home with enough time to eat dinner and then Maddy and Caiden went to their youth programs at church.

Thursday- Caiden had his 9:00am writing class at Grace.  He came home and we worked on school.  I then had my physical therapy appointment at 11:00.  At 12:00 I ran Maddy to Grace for a lunch time birthday party.  Then brought her back for her 1:45 class.  Caiden had gymnastics at 4:00 and I got groceries for the week.  We enjoyed dinner together and then Rogan and Maverick came over.  Their parents needed us to watch them.  Caiden had robotics from 7-9 and we all collapsed at the end of the day.

Friday- We enjoyed pizza Friday!  We did YouTube school and learned a lot about Cortez and the Aztecs this week.  In science we talked about the 3 parts of an atom.  The kids made atom cookies. The kids did a great job cleaning.  When Mike was done with work we all went to Midland for the weekend.

Saturday - The big kids went with my dad to the Midland symphony.  Westin stayed home with my mom and I and they made butterballs.  We arrived on Friday night and all went to church on sunday together followed by lunch at Pi's.  We got home in time for the kids to make it to Awana.
