Week 5 October 18

 Monday Caiden ran his 1/2 marathon yesterday so we were all ridiculously tired today.  The kids had just 3 subjects of school to tackle.  We slept in and then listened to Harry Potter then finally got to our to do list.  After lunch we had running club.  It was a beautiful day we stayed until almost 4:00.  We had dinner then played games and listened to more half blood prince.

Tuesday We started the morning with listening to The half blood prince on audiobook.  The kids each had 2 things of school. We had lunch then they were off to Spanish. We met the Bibers and Kimmons at the giant tire swing.  After dinner Caiden was off to robotics. Maddy finished her sewing project and Westin and I read together.

Wednesday - The kids worked on their school and then we went to running club after lunch.  In Science we've been talking about electricity so we did snap circuits today.  In history we've been talking about the Incans.  Today we met Pizzaro the conquistador who will topple the Incan empire. Caiden and Maddy had youth group after dinner and Westin and I had fun at home together.  We played Sleeping Queens, read several books together, went in the hot tub, and made some hilarious music videos.

Thursday- We started the day with a game of Sleeping Queens. Caiden then had his 9:00 class at Grace.  I dropped him off then worked with Maddy and Westin on there school.  After Maddy finished school she started her new sewing project.  She's making a squish mellow for Westin. We had lunch then I took Maddy to her class at Grace.  At 4:00 I ran Caiden to his gymnastic class.  He passed his level 2 class and is now registered for level 3.  After dinner Caiden had his robotics class from 7-9.  Westin and Maddy and I played legos and went into the hot tub.

Friday - We did Youtube school and cleaned up the house.  I didn't make pizza today instead we picked up pizza thanks to the book it program.  In the evening Mike went to see Dune and Julia and Gina came over.  The girls had a lot of fun together and Julia stayed the night.

Saturday - Julia's parents came and picked her up around lunch time.  The girls had enough time in the morning to do a face mask.  We played a quick game when they came to get her. At 1:30 our running club did their 5K race.  Our group was smaller than in the past but it was still a very good race.  After the 5K we went to a birthday party for Ruben Thelen.  At the end of the party we were all frozen and sat in the hot tub together.  We were all pretty tired after such a big day.

Sunday -  We went to church then came home.  Mike helped the kids carve their pumpkins and I took a nap.  The kids went to awana in the evening and Mike and I played games.
