Week 23

Tuesday's highlights-  We went to the public museum for Science Tuesday.  This month's theme is zoology.  Which is fabulous because we've been studying insects and they had a whole station on bees!  After the museum we had friends over for a Tea Party.  We also managed to squeeze in our other subjects in-between our fun events.

Wednesday's highlights- The nice weather has returned which means we're back to the park for our lunch time meet up with friends!  We had another great day at the library too.

Thursday's highlights- Maddy wanted to practice her violin with a friend after our Thursday Res life classes. Both kids seem to continue to enjoy their classes at Res.  Maddy is taking violin and building a derby car and Caiden is taking Sign Language and gym. The kids are also enjoying playing Caiden's new game Goblet.  And of course lego build time is always fun for breaks.

Friday's highlight- We are studying South America and this was our South American restaurant visit. However, when we got to the restaurant it was more Mexican than South America. On the plus side the food was delicious and Caiden found out that he likes alligator meat because he tried Alligator tacos.

Weekend learning-  We meet up with some friends at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum over the weekend.  Lots of fun!
