Week 26

Tuesday's highlights- We started a new unit in science this week.  We'll be studying Vertebrates from now until the end of the year.  This week our focus is learning the 5 different types of Vertebrates. The kids were rather crafty during their breaks today.  They made kites and I really liked the owl Caiden drew today too.

Wednesday's Highlights- Caiden's reading has really been improving lately.  Caiden made backbones for all 5 Vertebrate groups today.

Thursday's Highlights- We made our own backbone out of egg cartons for science.  Buidling blocks and Candy Land for breaks.  Today started a new session at Rez.  Maddy is taking Art and Violin.  She made a life size drawing of herself she was rather proud of it. We also did diet coke and mentos for our science experiment today.  BIG hit they loved it.  Another fun part of our day was the kids learned how to throw pottery on the wheel for the first time today.

Friday's highlights-  We finished up our Europe Unit.  For our continent project I check out books from the library and we look through them then find them on the map.  I also try and check out a video from the continent too. We also went to the children's museum today
