Week 25

Monday's highlights- Caiden was at his HaSP program and Maddy was at school so I decided to take just Westin to preview the robot zoo at the Public Museum.  He loved it!

Tuesday's highlights- It's holy week so we played Easter Bingo and talked about the biblical events of the week for our bible lesson.  Caiden also finished up his favorite insect lapbook project today too.  A new tool in our Langue art box are mindcraft writing prompts.  Caiden chooses one from our mindcraft bag and then writes an answer to the question on his new Mindcraft stationary.  I've never seen this kid so excited to write. He keeps asking when we are going to do more mindcraft writing projects.

Wednesday's highlights- We  made our usual trip to the library and Caiden's friends from Monday school were there.  Caiden loved showing them some of his favorite spots in the library and even read to them from his favorite books.

Thursday's highlights- The kids worked on insect projects in the morning and then went to Rez Life.  This week was the end of session 4.  To celebrate they brought in the critter barn.  The kids learned about new life on the farm in the spring and how mom animals care for their young.  After Rez we dyed easter eggs and talked about why the food coloring is repealed by the wax of our crayons.

Friday's highlights- We were reading about Greece today during our survey of European countries and Caiden was fascinated by the Greek alphabet. So we listened to some songs of the Greek alphabet and Caiden wrote his name.  We also did another mindcraft writing project, listened to a book on tape and finished up our unit on insects.
