Week 16
Monday
Today was our day off. I had my annual check up in the morning and the kids just hung out at home. Everyone did their reading then we had lunch and went downtown and went skating for two hours with friends. It was so good to see people! We came home and played a game of Monopoly.

Tuesday - Today was Groundhog's Day. I read some books with Westin and then we watched Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow. We built castles in the morning. Then the kids made a catapult and tried to destroy each others castles. We talked about plate tectonics and used gram crackers and frosting to show how plates move. After we finished school and lunch we went cross country skiing. It was the perfect day for it.

In the evening Mike and I went out for a date. The kids are old enough to stay home while we go out for a quick dinner together. It feels great to be in this phase of our marrige.
