week 19

Monday  - We did school today, which is unusual because we usually take Mondays off.  But this week we are going skiing on Wednesday so that will be our day off.  The kids did also have Holland Outdoor Discovery center.  In the evening the kids played monopoly. All the kids versus mike.

Tuesday - Westin had swim lessons today and the ski was so beautiful I encouraged the kids to go out and make snowmen. We continued our study of the Mongols and the kids worked hard to finish school.  I worked on getting everything packed up for our ski trip tomorrow.

Wednesday - We took today off of school and hit the slopes.  We enjoyed a group rate and all 3 kids did great.  I was very sore after a full day of skiing.  Caberfae is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from our house.  We listened to Tristan Strong on the way there and home in preparation for battle of the books.

Thursday - We were slow moving today.  We were sore from skiing yesterday.  We started the day with coffee and a soak in the hot tub.  We then did a few rounds of school.  Next we all played Monopoly.  We finished up school.  In the evening Maddy and I went for a walk and Mike and Caiden played chess.  Then we all watched WandaVision. 

Friday - We had a lovely day at home.  The kids did school and cleaned and we had pizza and Youtube school. I love the simplicity of Fridays. Maddy also had horse lessons today.  It was nice to chat with Angie while the girls rode.
