U.P. Trip
My dad's friend has a cabin in the U.P. so I packed up Caiden and Maddy's school and we brought it with us and worked on school while we toured some amazing sites.
Tuesday stop 1- Our first stop was the Mt.Pleasant Discovery Museum. My kids loved it! We played there for almost 2 hours.

Tuesday stop 2 We met my parents at a McDonald's in Clair. Caiden also got all his school work in the car today.
Tuesday stop 3 We stopped at the Deer Ranch in St. Ignace. The kids loved feeding the deer and both kids got attached to a specific deer.
Tuesday stop 4- We ate dinner on the deck and enjoyed the view of the lake. And within a few more hours we arrived at the Cabin.
Wednesday morning we went on a glass bottom boat tour and saw 3 ship wrecked vessels in Lake Superior. Beautiful views of pictured rocks along the way.

This is what made this trip a learning on location trip and not a vacation. Math in a hammock. |

Saturday we headed home but made made a few stops. Our fist stop was the zoo near the bridge. Great little place. Interactive and large enough to feel like a real zoo. We also stopped at fort Mackinac.

There were peacocks that roamed the zoo that you could feed as well as a petting zoo. |
