20 weeks seems like it should be some kind of Mile stone. Things continue to be fun and Caiden continues to be making progress and enjoying school.
Monday- Caiden was at HsAP but Maddy had Monday off for President's day. It was really great to get some time with just her and to not do "school" but rather just play with Westin and Maddy. We also attended Res Life's Lego Movie night. I normally don't put evening family fun things in our school blog but this lego movie party was put on by the church that hosts the kids Thursday group. So we got to see lots of homeschool friends.

We've been watching and listening to Nicaraguan music videos this week. Kids love this! |

I love that my almost 7 year old still loves to play with trains on his break. |
Thursday- First day of a new session at Res Life. Caiden is taking sign language and gym and Maddy is taking violin and the derby car class. We also turned a penny green for our weekly science project and talked about the 3 states of matter. Caiden and Maddy also created their own spirograph with snap circuits completely on their own.

Friday- We finished Nicaragua today! Caiden did blend ladders in the morning and we did a states of matter craft. I also switch art to Fridays and we took pictures using Rembrant lighting. PJ and ipad Friday continues to be a hit and keeps him motivated all week. We also had unseasonably great weather so we played outside for one of our breaks and listen to book on tape in the afternoon.
